NOTE:  AS A YORUBA CULTURAL ORGNIZATION, THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS FOR COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN THE STATE OF OHIO.  IN ADDITION, QUALIFIED STUDENTS OF YORUBA DESCENT ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.  FAMILY MEMBERS OR RELATIVES OF MEMBERS OF EGBE OMO YORUBA OF GREATER MIAMI VALLEY ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.


CRITERIA FOR EGBE OMO YORUBA OF GREATER MIAMI VALLEY 
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

1.  Student must be attending an accredited College or University in the State of Ohio, USA.
2.  Student must have cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or 3.75/5.0.
3.  Student must be of African Descent.
4.   Submit an unofficial transcript to support educational performance.
5.  Must demonstrate financial need via a written statement (Short Essay) attached to application.
6.  Must submit a letter of recommendation from an academic staff with close knowledge of 
     student's performance and character.
